This is a song that takes heavy inspiration from future bass as a genre, creating a dark atmosphere where there's a glimmer of light. "Light in the Dark" talks about being on the edge of losing control of yourself due to anxiety and depression, and about how these days many people feel like they're broken while still being really young. The line "I'm the light in the dark, but I'm fading" sums up the idea of spiraling down in a way there's no way back, and the final section of the song becomes so intense and ends so abruptly it's such a metaphor of how quickly we can get lost within our own darkness.

The main track was so deep that I wanted a more light-hearted sound as a b-side track, so that's why I chose "Feel Alive". It's a cute guitar-driven song that talks about how fast life moves on, and despite how positive it sounds, the lyrics represent how sometimes it seems like everyone is progressing in their own lives while some of us are left behind not achieving much. So, in a way, it's a song about feeling of others for living so-called normal lives.
