1. Feels Like Rain

"Feels Like Rain" is the second track to be released off my project "666", which involves releasing 6 different songs under 6 different genres on the 6th of each month starting from July 2023. The lyrics talk about how refreshing love can feel sometimes, comparing it to a summer rain to express that kind of emotion, and overall it's got a nice vibe that's a bit sexy yet sweet at the same time. And I even mentioned Dora the Explorer, so there's just no way this song wouldn't be really special to me!

Music-wise it's a hip-hop track with delicate melodies, synths that sound very elegant, and a sweet yet powerful trap-influenced beat, while the post-chorus sections include a really nice melody that takes inspiration from Chinese folk music and it was actually created with Chinese instruments, which is also my favorite part of the song.
