1. Ahora

"Ahora" is the third track to be released off my project "666", which involves releasing 6 different songs under 6 different genres on the 6th of each month starting from July 2023. This time I really wanted to switch things up in a way I've never done before, so I wrote the song in Spanish and, as you can expect, that's something new for me. The lyrics talk about evolving, being someone different from the one you were some time ago, and not waiting whenever you really feel like doing something. In fact there's a meaningful line that translates to "the time is not tomorrow nor later, it's now", and I think it really sums up the message of the song.

When it comes to the music, since I knew I was going to write this one in Spanish I really wanted to give the song a Spanish feel to it too, so even though the main genre would probably be Latin pop, there are different elements influenced by flamenco, rumba and reggaeton spread throughout the track. It's a fast-paced song everyone can dance to, which is why I wanted to make both music and lyrics as positive and catchy as possible.
